Submit your sound recordings to Library & Archives Canada!
The law applies to producers of music recordings, videos, books, and other publications.
After legal deposit, all materials published in Canada become part of the Library and Archives Canada collection, which serves as the record of Canada’s published heritage.
As a part of the free legal deposit process, you get a listing in the Library and Archives Canada's database and a receipt you can use for tax purposes.
How to submit:
- Fill in the appropriate form for Sound Recordings
- Mail one copy of your sound recording with the completed form to LAC:
Library and Archives Canada
395 Wellington Street
