NB Summer Music Festival Schedule

Posted by

Each year is an adventure putting together a classical music festival. Choosing a theme, researching the music, making selections, finding artists, checking venues and working with numerous partners is always an interesting journey. A few years ago, we began featuring the music of different regions or countries. This year it is Spain and the Latin counties of the New World.

Spain has always been associated with passion and bravado in music with its typical folk and dance traditions. These will be well displayed in our music along with elements of an older Islamic heritage.

We hope you can join us in our musical celebration, whether it be in our Historic Spaces Concerts, the outdoor ‘Concert in the Park’ in Officers’ Square or for our feature evening concerts in the acoustically fine Memorial Hall on the University of New Brunswick campus.

Join us this summer and lose yourself in the passion of the music of Spain!
