SCENE NB: Émilie Landry takes the Empress stage

The Capitol Theatre is proud to present singer-songwriter Émilie Landry, as part of the SCENE NB concert series! Presented at the Empress Theatre in collaboration with Music NB, this series of monthly concerts features exciting artists creating, recording and producing now, from across New Brunswick. Tickets are now on sale at the Capitol Box Office and are priced at $15.

Émilie Landry is originally from Campbellton, in northern New Brunswick. She has participated in numerous events and competitions since 2009, such as the Gala de la chanson de Caraquet, Accros de la chanson, theFestival International de la chanson de Granby and Ma Première place des arts. She completed her voice training in pop and jazz at Campus Notre-Dame de Foy in Quebec.

In 2017, she signed with Moncton label Le Grenier musique. French artist Daran, now residing in Quebec, produced Landry’s first solo EP, entitled “Être social”. The track “Embrasse un miroir” climbed the Francophone radio charts in Atlantic Canada all the way to #1.

Émilie Landry performs pop folk songs with a pinch of jazz. Guitar in hand, she sings with the purest of voices, with intense sensibility. Her songwriting goes from funny to painful, telling misfortunes in love and friendship. Discover a passionate, honest and sincere artist who will no doubt share her joie de vivre on stage.
