Seconde Nation is an Acadian folk-traditional band from New Brunswick. The four members have toured a lot and have travelled across Europe many times. Seconde Nation’s artists are Dominique Breau (voice, storytelling, spoons, jew’s harp, and foot stomping), Marie-Andrée Gaudet (fiddle and voice), Julien Breau (bass and voice), and Jacques Blinn (guitar, piano, voice).
Throughout the years 2016 and 2017, the band was part of the project “L’Acadie, un pays qui se raconte”. The show was presented 80 times in France and a few times in Moncton. In 2017, they won the “Assomption Vie Radio-Canada” price, which resulted in a tour of 12 shows through the Atlantic Provinces that will be done next year. In 2017, the release a 6-song EP, and later in 2018, they will release a full-length album.
A Seconde Nation show will make you laugh and dance. These fantastic professional musicians will bring you down history lane.
