The Capital Area Chapter of the Irish Canadian Cultural Association of NB is once again proud to present an evening of Irish music and dance leading up to St. Patrick’s Day.  Come to Fredericton’s premier entertainment venue, The Playhouse, on Wednesday evening, March 14th, beginning at 7:30 pm.  Join us in “AN EVENING AT THE PUB,” as Katherine Moller and Fredericton’s Traditional Celtic music group, “Different Folk”, along with guest performers Siamsa Performing Troupe, Fredericton’s newest Irish dance troupe, and Gordon Dougherty, an accomplished local writer and musician, treat us to a night of music and stories at the local gathering spot.  You will want to raise a glass and order another round as you listen to Irish melodies, tapping your feet to lively tunes, and having a rollicking good time.   Fiddle, bodhrán, guitar, voice and dance combine to lift your spirits and have you dreaming of Irish shores. Start your enjoyment of St. Patrick’s Day 2018 just a little bit early this year.  Tickets are just $32.30 and funds raised with this annual event are used to further the Irish heritage and culture that are such an important part of the foundation of present-day New Brunswick.
