Adam Washburn, born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, has just released his first full-length album Lift Me Up with producer Dale Murray of Come Undone Records. Murray previously produced Washburn’s EP Beautiful Things, a five song EP of indie-folk earworms. Much like the debut EP, which featured performances by Christina Martin and Dale Murray, the new full length album Lift Me Up is full of catchy pop choruses, toe tapping grooves, and Adam’s soaring and effortless vocals. The video for the debut single Lift Me Up, produced by Steve Doiron has reached 37,000 views on Facebook and earned the #1 spot on the East Coast Countdown.
Washburn is currently based out of Saint John, New Brunswick and is performing with a new group under the name Adam Washburn Band, featuring Keith Whipple, Colin Ferris, and Lorne Kirkpatrick. With the current band, and Adam’s previous band The Elements, he has shared the stage with the likes of The Trews, Ria Mae, Dylan Menzie, In Flight Safety, Christina Martin, Coyote, Gypsophilia, and many more.
A winner of four Saint Jon Music Awards, Music New Brunswick emerging artist of the year nominee and a third round victory in Music Nova Scotia’s Take It to the Tiki- which lead to a showcase at Canadian Music Week.
Adam is now playing shows in support of the new album Lift Me Up, fresh off of an ECMA showcase in his hometown, and writing for his next album.
