Artifiseer is the solo project of Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer, Ian Livingstone, currently based in Saint John. With a lively mix of organic and digital textures anchored with a ghostly, yet commanding voice, Artifiseer crafts a unique blend of experimentation and melancholic pop sensibility. Beginning with two sparse singles in late 2012, they quickly following up with two EPs of ghostly electronic experiments, titled "Recognition" and "Enigma" by mid-2013. They have since expanded their sound greatly across two full-length albums, 2015's "Catalyst", and 2020's "Syncretist" which saw them weave their glitchy synth tones and eerie melodies into their most fleshed out and expertly-arranged songs to date.
