Born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, Colton started playing piano in 1988 at the age of four. He started performing in high school with various bands and variety shows. At age 15 he began performing in various venues organized by tourism and city council which lead to performances in the local and regional music scene. 

Over the last two decades, he has performed with many artists and had the honor of sharing the stage with Emerson Drive, The Road Hammers, Tenille Townes, Doc Walker, George Canyon and Nazareth. He also performed with other Canadian acts, Matt Minglewood, Chris Cummings, Tristan Horncastle, Jason Benoit, Classic Albums Live, and many more. 

Colton has always been involved with regular performances at Harvest Music Festival & East Coast Music Awards performing for thousands of music enthusiasts every year. Colton is well known in the maritime music scene as being “one of the best keyboard players on the east coast” and is preferred by many artists and bands. When Colton is not touring, he is performing with various bands in the province of new brunswick. Colton has had the pleasure to perform at a variety of venues and festivals across Canada. He also has a long list of artists and bands that he has been a part of over the last two decades. 

In addition to live performance and studio sessions, Colton has also created his own music with a main focus of sync licensing and publishing. In 2001 he was using synthesizers to create complex compositions inspired by radio, television, and commercials. He is in strong pursuit of creating music for publishers and serving the needs of the industry for all faucets of media.
