DFO is a three piece rock band hailing from
the foggy shores of Saint John, NB.
Comprised of Vocalist/Guitarist Mike
Plagenz, Drummer Lorne Kirkpatrick, and
Bassist/Vocalist Colin Ferris. This threesome takes
influence of all elements, creating their
own take on an aggressive sound with
chest pounding drums, intricate bass lines,
and infectious vocals. This sound has
quickly identified DFO as one of the bands
to see in Southern New Brunswick. In just a few short
years, DFO has released two full length
albums, released a Music NB nominated EP
"See Sharp, It's Not That Bad" for Rock
Recording of the Year, and came runner
up in the national songwriting
competition "Radiostar" in 2011.
Recently, DFO has taken their talents on
the road touring endlessly in 2014 through
the East Coast and central Ontario in
support of their latest release "MCMLXXXVII",
a collection of high energy, no nonsense
rock, touching on all facets of their
