I first got paid for writing and performing music as the house band/arranger/composer for the Hubcap Comedy Troupe, led by Marshall Button, which toured the province in the early 2000s. I now write songs and demo them in a home recording studio. I write pop, jazz, country in both French and English. I currently also lead Michael R. & The Belmars (three vocalists, double bass and keys) that perform jazz and pop vocals, some standards, some mashups and originals. BothFrench and English
