Based out of the Port City (Saint John, NB)
Sonic Detour has become a local favorite in southern New Brunswick, with recent performances at The Phoenix Dinner Theatre and The Panic Room. Their first two singles, “Meat & Bones” and “As it Fades,” are currently in regular rotation at Maximum 110 (online radio show stationed in Fredericton, NB).
Viciously mixed with gritty rhythm sections, infectious hooks and melodic riffs, Sonic Detour has created a genre-blending sound all their own.
The band was founded by bassist/vocalist Jason Crowley in April, 2019, and includes Andrew Clifford on rhythm guitar, Marcus Marcial on lead guitar/vocals, Jeff Andrusyk on drums, and Dave Cook on vocals. In November, 2019, they teamed up with producer Derek Hilchie (The Backstays / Graywin Productions) and began work on their first professional demo recordings.
Numb Tongue is their first video release from the upcoming EP self titled.
