We Left as Lions is a metal/rock/alternative band from Moncton, New Brunswick started by long-time songwriter Neil McWilliam. After the breakdown of his band The Sounds of Silence, Neil started We Left as Lions as a creative outlet. The project has evolved to add more fellow East Coast musicians - Nick Chandler, Chris Cowan, Jon Harquail and Troy Fullerton.
