Art Of The Possible to release debut EP "Passerby"
Roots and Soul Music Promotions is pleased to announce “Passerby” – the debut EP from Art Of The Possible on Feb 2nd, 2018.
Formed in 2015, Fredericton-based sibling-fronted blues rock band Art Of The Possible are set to release their debut recording project, “Passerby,” on Friday, Feb 2nd, 2018. The EP release will be accompanied by a celebratory performance by the band that evening at 8:00 pm at the Grimross Brewing Company, 600 Bishop Drive, Fredericton NB.
“Passerby” consists of 5 tracks composed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Colin Fowlie and arranged by the entire band. Fowlie is joined by James Rooney on Drums, Jarret Meadows on Bass, Huey Lord on keyboards, Camilo Villamizar-Báez on guitar, and finally his sister Megan Fowlie on vocals, kazobo, and auxiliary percussion. From jazz to 90’s grunge rock, from blues to folk, each band member brings their own personal influences to the table which are woven throughout the arrangements. The resulting sound is something unique yet familiar that should appeal to fans of a variety of musical genres.
Following the release and celebration show, Art Of The Possible will be announcing additional dates around the east coast throughout the winter and spring, and hope to take the stage at several of the many vibrant music festivals taking place this summer and fall. “Passerby” will be aired on CHSR 97.9 FM in Fredericton NB, and will be distributed to indie and campus radio stations across the country.
