Garrison Hill Entertainment Ltd has a great deal of news!

It’s been a busy Spring and we are thrilled to share some news with our fellow Music NB Members. As a booking agency we are announcing our new relationship with Songwriter and New Brunswicker, Andy Brown. Andy will be appearing at The Stan Rogers Folk Festival in July and also with Heather Rankin at Granville Green July 10th with more dates to be announced soon!

We can also confirm Old Tyme Championship fiddling & step-dancing group; (musicnb members) The Lumber Jills, will be performing at The Schots Festival in Aldien Biesen Castle in the region of Flanders, Belgium. Amélie de Arcos, Jaylee Hebert, Janelle Melanson and Machaela Osowski will also perform for a radio station in Northern France and other venues to be announced shortly.

Shelley Chase of Garrison has been enjoying a partnership with The Stan Rogers Folk Festival in Canso, Nova Scotia as their Social Media manager this year leading up to their big 20th Anniversary Celebration July 1 - 4 and is also the social media manager for this years Granville Green Festival in Port Hawkesbury Cape Breton.

Garrison has also booked acts The Irish Descendants (NL), Three Finger Shot (AB), Bridgette Blanchard (PEI), Tomato Tomato (NB), Big Bad Party Band (NB), Hillsburn (NS), The Monday Nights (NL), Siobahan Miller (SCOT), Aindrias de Staic (IRE), The Tin Pan Darlins (NB) for dates all over eastern Canada for this busy summer season. How lucky are we?

MNB members Shelley Bean & The Duckety Muds have been going quakers getting ready for their summer projects with kids across Canada! June 7 - 9 they are in Calgary as part of Mayor Nenshi’s Environmental Expo for 4,000 school kids then they are off to Saskatoon to work with the Agriculture in the Classrooms program and school kids in that community. Locally you can see the band performing for families June 26 for RibFest in Moncton, July 17 for Acoustica and August 3 for Concerts in the Park with The Town of Riverview. In August the band tours Newfoundland coast to coast. MNB members Denis Surette and Amélia de Arcos, Robin Anne Ettles and Stacey Read will be joining Shelley for summer dates.
