APEGNB is thrilled to present its annual Haunted Tour fundraiser at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre (CSAC) on October 26and 27 from 6 pm -10 pm, and on October 28 and 29  from 5 pm -10 pm.
Tickets are 10 dollars, with all proceeds going to support the Charlotte Street Arts Centre and its community programs.
APEGNB members and other volunteers will use all of their creativity and technical skills to turn the historic halls of the Charlotte Street Arts Centre into a terrifically terrifying spectacle. You never know what’s around the next corner! This popular annual fundraiser has become a hallmark of Halloween fun since 2009 and has raised tens of thousands of dollars for the arts centre since its inception.
The APEGNB Haunted Tour allows local engineers and geoscientists to put their problem-solving expertise to work on behalf of the CSAC. “Every year, we try to outdo the previous year in terms of fundraising,” says Bill Lamey, PEng, event organizer. “In order to keep people coming back, my fellow engineers and geoscientists combine imagination, technology and know-how to deliver a truly unique Halloween experience in Fredericton. It’s certainly great value for money!”
Jared Peters, Executive Director of the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, agrees. “The engineers and geoscientists do such an amazing job year after year, and I know this year it’s going to be more thrilling than ever.  We’re so grateful for their hard work and expertise. Thanks to this fundraiser, the Charlotte Street Arts Centre is able to continue its programs and events to make the arts accessible to all members of the community.”
APEGNB is also presenting a low-scare Haunted Tour for the whole family, at Science East, on Brunswick Street.  It will be held October 28 and 29 from 10 am – 5 pm. (Tickets are five dollars).
