ECMA Digital Marketing Course provider Lynn Colepaugh (Riverview, NB) from Mission Control Management is announced as 2016 CMW Startup Launchpad Finalist
We are very excited to announce that Lynn Colepaugh’s new company Mission Control has been chosen as one of seven finalists in the 2016 Canadian Music Week Startup LaunchPad Contest. The contest component centers on a pitch competition for new businesses that are based in or connected to the music industry. This year, Mission Control brought the Digital Marketing 30-day e-course to lucky registrants at ECMA 2016 through advance learning and onsite course material.
The concept of Mission Control came from the lack of artist managers in New Brunswick. Lynn thought that it would be great idea if there was a website that could help artists with practical e-courses so that they could learn to do a portion of the artist management tasks themselves. It evolved from its first e-course for attending conferences (in 2015) to offering Digital Marketing courses through the East Coast Music Association this year as part of their conference offerings. Lynn wants to further evolve Mission Control to offer more artist management e-learning opportunities, as well as a mentoring component. The end goal is to give artists the tools they need to help themselves.
Lynn Colepaugh will be in Toronto May 5th to make a five-minute pitch to the judges during Canadian Music Week.
