Fredericton's CHIPS have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on their first single Modern Days off their fourthcoming album to be released in late summer of 2018. The single Modern Days was recorded in Fredericton, NB at LAB Interactive and mixed and mastered by James Gauthier of MediumRare Productions based in Sweden. The accompanying video was shot and edited by none other than CHIPS drummer Devon Murrins with additional camera work by Matt Carr.

"Modern Days was written when I was seeing the relationship I was in crumbling heavily due to social media. The first thing many people do when they wake up is look at a screen and the last thing they do before bed. That can sometimes take a hold of a relationship in a negative way. The song is also about remaining positive no matter what is going on around you, even when you hit rock bottom. When you come up from that and persevere, it's a really good feeling." - Chips vocalist, Adam Guidry
