Kevin W Herring is both a recording engineer and an educator . His engineering credits include a number of orchestral recordings for the late Sir George Martin at AIR Studios, Hampstead, London, England.  His work as a classical, jazz, and choral recording engineer appears on a number of international labels including ASV/Sanctuary, ATMA Classique, Divine Arts, Four Winds, and Mode. Recording projects have been undertaken throughout the Maritimes as well as London(UK), Porto(Portugal),San Francisco, Montréal, and Calgary. Kevin is a past voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences(the Recording Academy)Producers and Engineers Wing. He is currently an active voting member of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences(JUNO judge) and the Audio Engineering Society (Life Member). He has been awarded juried grants from both the Canada Council for the Arts (Music & Opera) and the New Brunswick Arts Board (Documentation). His articles concerning the state of the recording industry have been published in Canadian Musician magazine
