Maksim Osipau

Maksim is a guitar player, composer, producer, and educator. He graduated from Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts in 2010 with a degree in music, where he offered to stay and teach electric guitar at the university. However, his first job as a teacher was teaching classical guitar at Minsk State Arts College, from where he also graduated in 2005. He had played in different bands, he had his own projects wich had success on the Radio and TV. He has worked as music producer on one of the national TV projects in Belarus, and much more. He has worked with artists as a session/touring musician, record producer, mixing engineer, and was a member of different recognized bands, popular in Belarus and surrounding European countries for more than 10 years. His music is still played on radio and television in Europe.
While at university, he received the Diploma of Laureate of the State Contest “Young Talents of Belarus” Nomination in Instrumental music with his own composition. In 2017 he moved to Canada. Currently he's a solo guitar artist and content creator (YouTube), guitar instructor at UNB (Fredericton), continuing to be composing, producing and mixing music for commercials, short films, collaborating with various artists and clients in his own production studio based in Fredericton. Band member, music producer/mixing engineer for NB Band “No Name Road”. 

And just recently, in 2022, Maksim received an award for Excellence in Music Composition in a NB Short Film ("The Staredown") at the Silver Wave Film Festival.
