Tactus is a five-piece progressive metal band from Fredericton, New Brunswick. Formed in 2011 by three St. Thomas University music students, the group has gone on to produce multiple independent releases and perform all over the maritimes. They enjoy pushing the boundaries of structure, style, and technique, and they work hard to make sure their intense music is note-for-note live. Their first full-length album Bending Light, mixed and mastered by Jamie King, was released on October 7th 2016. The newest single Glass Atlas, mixed and mastered by the band's guitarist Adrian Barnes, was released January 12th 2018.
