Evan Cooper exploded onto the music scene just over a year ago. He has gone from singing at school events to showcasing at the Pre-Stampede Show in Nova Scotia, playing at the Harvest Music Festival last fall, and opening for Kylie Fox on her “There are Only so Many Great Nights” tour. In the summer of 2024, Evan was a finalist in the NB Talent competition in Saint Andrews, performing two of his original songs. He has performed at multiple venues throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, he always draws a crowd, and puts on an exciting live show!

Evan’s music is characterized by acoustic guitar-driven songs and heartfelt lyrics. Influenced by mainstream pop and alternative folk, Evan’s music has been compared to Noah Kahan and Ed Sheeran. Evan is a passionate songwriter who started writing songs when he was only 9 years old, and with over four albums of music already written, the sky is the limit. Evan is dedicated to the local music scene and his passion for songwriting has led him to work with some of the top musicians on the East Coast.

At only 15 years old, Evan has already brought his sophomore studio single, “Out of Love” to the world. The release of this song led to media coverage on New Country 92.3 FM, charting on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown Hot 100, debuting on the CIOE East Coast Top 30 at #18, rising to #10, and still climbing. “Out of Love” was MusicNB’s Song of the Week on April 23rd! Evan’s debut single, “Don’t Come Crying Back to Me” was released in late 2024 and was inducted into the CIOE East Coast Hall of Fame! Both songs have reached over 20,000 streams..
