There is a rising star shining over the covering bridge of Darling’s Island, New Brunswick and his name is Jacob Chevarie. A humble crooner who honed his craft on small town stages, county fairs and car shows; he has quietly and steadily become an unmistakable voice in country music.
In four years, he has played over 400 shows, with a work ethic that mimics his talent and love for the crowds. Instantly memorable, at 20 years old, his vocal stylings sound like vintage Don Williams at a back porch session with Clint Black.
Entertainer of the Year for Saint John and Rising Star for the NB Country Music Hall of Fame he has performed at Levee on the Lake, Nashwaak Country Fest, Sussex Balloon Fiesta, Noel avec Laurie Leblanc, Area 506 and more with his blend of country, folk and bluegrass in English and his beloved Acadian français.
A skilled guitarist and vocalist; well versed in all decades of country music, he is a next-generation songwriter and storyteller rooted in the rural roads of New Brunswick. With an eye to the tradition, his boots firmly are on the path to more touring, recording and heartfelt collaborations Atlantic Canada is known for.
