Killer Kindness is the brain-child of Alex Cogswell. Its debut album, "Heavenly Blue" arrived April 24, 2025 and it is the culmination of Alex's folky musical exploration of over 20 years, but re-imagined into a current set with a consistent production style. Killer Kindness is a catch-all for Alex Cogswell's solo song and story ideas. Every aspect, from lyrics and performance to production is a one-man-band recording process.  

Alex Cogswell was born in Fredericton NB and grew up in that area. He took some classical guitar lessons at the age of 15, but by age 17 he was off to Waterloo Ontario to study architecture. Though the world took him to other places, Alex's love of music and the Maritimes never left him. He returned home to Fredericton in 2023 with a collection of songs and ideas in tow... His home-music studio is now located in Fredericton and he has started performing some of these songs lives at local open mics and artist showcases...

Killer Kindness' second album, "Unlikely Cry", is due to release Nov. 18, 2025.
