Starting out as two kids toying around in their basement with an acoustic guitar and a dream, The Vault turned into something far bigger than anyone expected. Between Dave Cote's natural instinct for songwriting and Hanna Donovan's ability for crafting captivating vocal melodies, the two came together to create something that felt truly special.

   A decade later, Dave enlisted the skills of his friends Becca McCabe and Mirren Lithwick, asking them to contribute to the project in a way that helped shape the music into a much closer version of what it was always meant to be. The final brick was laid when Tammi Leavitt of He/She/They fame joined the band and glued everything together. After years of hard work, thousands of hours invested into writing and recording, and a few passionate arguments, The Vault have found their way.

   Now, you can find The Vault making waves in their local community. Helping to revitalize the all ages scene and playing shows all around the Maritimes. With their self-produced debut album set for release on May 9, 2026, they are ready to share their music with the world.
