DenMother is the solo music project of Canadian introvert Sabarah Pilon. Originally from Ontario, she began experimenting with "electronic" music in her tiny bedroom while living in Antigonish NS in 2010.
After moving back to Toronto, DenMother was conceived in 2011 and a close, albeit brief, relationship with Maryland based cassette label I Had An Accident Records was formed. Releases through IHAAR include 'Insides Out' (2012), 'Moon' (2013), and 'Passion Is Seldom The End' (2014).
Never quite belonging to the busy city, a much needed hiatus and dramatic life overhaul has led DenMother to Fredericton NB, where she is slowly redefining herself and working to find the fine balance between creative solitude and crippling isolation.
2016 saw the self released digital album, 'Blood: a memoir'; a raw and honest reflection of the final stages of a life spiralling out of control. Her most recent release, 'Now It All Comes' (2018), begins to chronicle the resurfacing of long lost repressed memories and emotions.
DenMother has been given opportunities to perform at Quality Block Party 1.2 in Saint John (2017), Fest Forward in Fredericton (2017), and to participate in the New Brunswick documentary series 'The Capitol Project'. She is slated to play the upcoming Flourish Festival in Fredericton and Quality Block Party 2.0 in Saint John in 2018.
