A native or rural New Brunswick, Chris was raised in a musical family.  From a young age he was introduced to an eclectic mix of classic rock, pop, folk, and country music, with The Beatles being one of his earliest notable influences.  His inspiration to learn guitar came after hearing Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’, but the first song he learned to play was that of Canadian folk legend Gordon Lightfoot: ‘The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald’.    As a teenager in the 90’s he dabbled with songwriting to pass the time.

He maintained recreational interest in music through his late 20’s, playing with a Fredericton-based cover band ‘Vintage’, writing some original music, and making a few home recordings.  Chris then decided to focus on other priorities, taking what became a roughly 10 year hiatus from playing music; a break that ended in late 2020 after he took a job at local music store, Tony’s Music Box, where he reconnected with his love of music, and he began to work on a solo project.

His musical influences include a host of artists, but those ostensibly audible on his debut album ‘Working Class Outcast’ are: Noel Gallagher, Oasis, The Police, Queens of the Stone Age, Sloan, and Soundgarden.
