Danielle Doiron is a singer/songwriter from Dartmouth, NS, now calling Fredericton home. Wearing her heart on her sleeve, Danielle writes vulnerable songs that touch on heartache, loss, longing and nostalgia. Her storytelling is as intimate as it is universal, creating space for listeners to connect with their own memories and emotions.
In 2024, Danielle released her debut EP, 'Stories that I tell myself’, a collection of songs that spotlight her “delicate vocals and soft, intimate arrangements guaranteed to… soothe your tired mind" (Matt Carter). The title track Stories, is a love letter to her younger years, while Time Together, is a raw, grief-stricken ballad written after the unexpected loss of her mother. The song connected deeply with a wider audience, and has become the title theme for the Bell Fibe TV1 series "Things Like These".
A true polymath, Danielle is also a trained actor that has performed on stages across Eastern Canada. As a playwright, she recently created a theatre show “In The Darkness” exploring grief in various forms. As these subjects continue to inform Danielle’s work, it flows into her songwriting, with a new batch of songs to be recorded in early 2027.
Past festival highlights include Harvest Festival (2026, 2023), Paddlefest (2026), Winter Warmer (2026), Dooryard Arts Festival (2025), Shivering Songs (2023), and Fest Forward (2022). Danielle has supported a variety of acts on stage, including Andrea Ramolo, Marian, Piner, Steel Cut Oats and Kylie Fox.

Exciting News:
Danielle's song Time Together is used as the opening theme song for Crypretty Media's new series "Things Like these" premiering on Bell FibeTV July 16th, 2026!
Danielle Received a Creation Grant from Arts NB in 2025 to create a theatre show exploring grief. Her first iteration of the show, entitled "In the Darkness," was presented in Workshop format at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre in June of 2026.

May 15th at PADDLEFEST: Danielle played at the Saint Andrews Brewing Co at 6pm for her first Paddlefest! It was a blast!
April 24th: Morsamour Studio welcomed Danielle as one of the three performers of the night for their studio shows. A great intimate, listening room venue! Danielle played a bunch of new songs...with a few faves too ;)
March 26th and 27th: Danielle played the Queen St. Crawl in Fredericton at Nomad Coffee, a cut and cozy lil spot! The Queen St Crawl was a mini-festival all along Queen Street.
January 31st: Danielle closed out the month of January playing the Winter Warmer Festival in beautiful St. Andrews by the sea. She played a two hour set in the cutest brewery by the ocean, aka the Saint Andrews Brewing Co.!
