Originally from Embro, Ontario, 22-year-old Katie Schurman has spent the last four years calling Fredericton, New Brunswick, home.

Rooted in her rural upbringing and lifelong love of music, Katie interprets the ever-changing world in song, capturing glimpses of life through her melodic perspective. Early years in musical theatre instilled a passion for storytelling that shines through in her songwriting today – introspective, raw, and emotionally resonant.

Katie has made a name for herself with her expressive lyricism, powerhouse vocals, and heartfelt acoustic performances. Influenced by her love of '90s pop and classic rock, Katie’s sound is at once nostalgic and refreshingly current.
