Renforth Music (SOCAN, ASCAP, CMRRA) is an independent music publishing company based in New Brunswick, Canada. Founded in 2008, we began with a simple mission: to showcase choral works by contemporary New Brunswick composers. Over time, our vision has grown. Today, we proudly publish an expanding collection of new choral works by emerging and established composers from around the world, while continuing to prioritize showcasing New Brunswick composers.
Our catalogue, now nearing 300 titles, offers a rich and eclectic mix of music for choirs of all sizes and skill levels—from accessible pieces, ideal for community and church choirs, to challenging works for advanced ensembles. Many of these works are first-time publications, making our library a fresh and distinctive resource for conductors and singers seeking something truly unique.
One of our core values is the pairing of music with text of exceptional quality. Alongside the enduring beauty of sacred texts, our catalogue features settings of poetry by celebrated writers such as Christina Rossetti (As I Remember Now – Warren), Giacomo Leopardi (Alla Luna – Gibson), Mary Coleridge (The Blue Bird – Hazzard), Charles G. D. Roberts (Along the Shore – R. Kidd), and Bliss Carman (Songs of the Sea – Cooper), as well as original texts by the composers themselves.
Whether you are searching for something lyrical and intimate or bold and adventurous, we invite you to explore our growing collection. We hope you will discover music that inspires both your choir and your audiences. For more information or to request a closer look at a score, please contact us—we’d love to hear from you.
