Terry is a singer, guitarist and songwriter from Moncton, New Brunswick. Since the 1990s, Terry has played in different bands, often as the lead singer. He was much influenced by artists such as Alabama, Randy Travis and Glen Campbell. In 2009 and 2013, Terry recorded two country folk albums with Acajun, a group that won the "Choice of the Future" award in 2007 in Moncton, NB. The group released several singles on French-language radio and many of its songs ranked first in the region's francophone charts. Since 2015, Terry has also been the singer of the AcadieParty Band, a group that has released some singles on French language radio and which also ranked at the top of the charts. Although Terry enjoyed singing with these bands, he decided it was time to become known as a solo artist. In addition, his dream was to record in Nashville, USA, and his dream became true. After spending two years writing, developing and recording his songs, Terry proudly released his first country album - a
recording with traditional songs, but with a modern sound. The album contains 12 songs composed by Terry and other songwriters from the region. Thanks to the support of fans and francophone radios in Acadie and Quebec, the first five songs reached number one in several country charts!

Five of Terry’s songs made it to CJSE Radio Beauséjour's Top 40 Acadian Chart in 2019, 2020, and 2023. In 2023, Terry released two singles, one of which is entitled “Je voudrais pas vivre autrement” and became no. 1 on the ARCANB provincial country chart. Terry’s last single, “Judge my
Soul Again”, was a remake of a song by Johnny Burke.

Terry Melanson est un chanteur, guitariste et auteur-compositeur originaire de Moncton, au Nouveau-Brunswick. En 2023, Terry a dévoilé deux extraits, dont une intitulée “Je voudrais pas vivre autrement” a reçu la première position sur la charte provinciale ARCANB. Le dernier exgtrait de Terry est intitulée “Judge my Soul Again”, une reprise d’une chanson de Johnny Burke.
