The Upsy Daisies are a high-energy children’s music duo from Saint John, NB, dedicated to creating interactive, developmentally rich family entertainment. Co-founded by award-winning musician Hilary Ladd and elementary school teacher Kristen Anderson, the duo blends catchy pop, folk, and rock influences with movement-built choruses, storytelling, and early childhood pedagogy.

Following the release of their debut EP, We’re the Upsy Daisies! (October 2025), the group secured an ArtsNB Creation Grant to write and stage Just Be You!—a 60-minute theatrical concert featuring 11 original songs centred on confidence, inclusion, and emotional literacy. Their performance model offers versatile configurations, ranging from dynamic duo feature sets to full interactive theatrical experiences tailored for mainstages, festivals, and civic celebrations.

The Upsy Daisies have established a proven track record across Maritime festival circuits, including high-profile engagements at Area 506 Canada Day, Sussex Balloon Festival, Moonlight Bazaar, Paddlefest, Winter Warmer, and Fredericton KIDFEST. As mothers and educators, Hilary and Kristen bring professional artistry and classroom-tested engagement to every show, inspiring young audiences across Atlantic Canada to dance, sing, and celebrate exactly who they are.
