Josh Bravener & The Hypochondriacs have captivated audiences everywhere with their electrifying blend of country, rockabilly, and rock and roll. Since forming in 2015, the six-member band has become renowned for their dynamic live shows. Led by the charismatic Josh Bravener, whose soul-stirring lyrics and powerful stage presence anchor the group's performances, the ‘Hypos’ include Jamie Guitar (bass), Kelly Waterhouse (saxophone/vocals), Jeannine Gallant (trombone/vocals), Connor Fox (lead guitar), and Andrew DeMerchant (drums).
Their touring success across Canada and the U.S. includes memorable appearances alongside notable artists like Lukas Nelson and appearances at major festivals such as SXSW. With accolades like a Music NB ‘Album of the Year’ and several other nominations, the acclaim for Josh Bravener & The Hypochondriacs continued with a nomination for Recording of the Year in 2022. So far in 2024, they have recorded and released their first live album, and are currently developing their third studio album, slated for recording later this year.
