A fixture of the East Coast music scene for over two decades, Mike Beaton has built a strong reputation as a sought-after solo cover artist in Halifax and Saint John. Formerly of 'The Downtown Getdown', Mike has now embarked on a solo journey while also collaborating with Brian Baker of Memphis Knight in the Baker Beaton Band. Grounded in blues and country traditions, Mike is currently writing and recording original material, transitioning from a beloved bar gig performer to a singer-songwriter. He also lends his talents as a session player to numerous other musicians. The debut single from the Baker Beaton Band, "No Hope in Hell," is available on all platforms in April 2025.
