Tyler Hache’s debut album, Silent (2015), reached #7 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart and was awarded the “Music/Musique NB Solo Recording of the Year.” In 2016, Hache had an original song placed in Magnolia’s Dollhouse—a short film that played at Festival de Cannes—and was named the “CBC Searchlight Regional Champion.” Tyler’s performing career includes various ECMA and Music NB showcases as well as opening for such distinguished acts as Hey Rosetta! and Leif Vollebekk. In 2017, Hache was one of ten artists from across the country to be selected to perform at a national showcase at the CCMA’s in London, Ontario; Hache’s performance of his song “Silent” caught the attention of attending music executives who later invited him to write in Nashville, Tennessee. While completing an honours bachelor’s degree in English at Mount Allison University, Tyler travelled frequently to Nashville, where he gained the invaluable experience of co-writing on the renowned ‘Music Row.’ Tyler continues to collaborate with Nashville-based producer and writer Andrew Petroff, whose work can be heard on such television shows as Grey’s Anatomy, The Black List, Riverdale, and How to Get Away with Murder. Hache is currently pursuing an MA in English in the Field of Creative Writing at the University of Toronto. His song “Walk With Me” was featured in the film Love Alaska (2019), and he recently had four of his songs featured in the television drama The Wedding Planners (2020).
