Festival (506), Music/Musique NB's (MNB) annual music festival and industry conference, invites all interested New Brunswick artists to submit an application to be considered for a showcase spot. Festival (506) will be taking place in CARAQUET, October 25 to 28, 2018.
"For emerging artists, showcasing at Festival (506) is a great starting point to dip your toes in the music industry," says Jean Surette, MNB's executive director. "This year, we are also aiming to better serve our exporting and ready-to-export artists, by inviting more international buyers and delegates." Past showcasing artists include Lisa LeBlanc, Tomato/Tomato, The Motorleague and Les Hay Babies.
Presenting only New Brunswick artists, Festival (506) allows music fans to discover the wealth of talent playing in their own backyards. Alongside the public festival, New Brunswick artists and music industry professionals take part in career development sessions and one-on-one meetings with invited national and international music industry professionals.
