With nearly 30 years as a performing musician, mikes career has taken him to stages all over the maritimes. Mike has his original catalogue, has showcased twice in the past with music nb and ecma.

mike currently plays a busy solo acoustic schedule where he is booked both as a multi genred artist and also as a celtic/ Irish act playing popular kitchen party atmosphere shows.

mike released one album in 2003 to country radio and has been featured on cbc radio with his song “Old Canada, my home”, a Canadian history lesson tune mike is known fir writing and performing.

mike is known to be very diverse musically, plays various instruments including guitar, bass, bouzouki and bodhran and is an entertaining story teller and vocalist.

mike also plays full band shows with his 20+ year tenured mike chase band.

mike has been a booking agent, manager, producer and concert organizer in the past, having produced some popular medium sized arena concerts and festivals. Mike currently also does consulting.

His career also has been that of a mentor and vocal coach, having coached contestants in popular saint john competitions such as Saint John Idol and Country Star, having coached one contestant to the winners circle and another to a runner up.

mike also has been a past judge for Alpine vocal wars and was selected in the past a Factor jurer.

mike is an elder statesman of the music scene, known to gig hard, play marathon shows and treat everyone with respect. His friends affectionately call him Mikey.
